Welcome to Lyne St-Martin, the new Chief Executive Director of The Lighthouse Children and Families

The Board of Directors of The Lighthouse Children and Families is proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Lyne St-Martin as the new Chief Executive Officer effective August 19, 2019.

Ms. St-Martin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Université de Montréal and a Master of Nursing degree from McGill University. She has been working at the Montreal Children's Hospital since 1990. After 13 years of experience as a clinical nurse clinician in pediatric intensive care and emergency room, her leadership and sense of innovation have enabled her to move into management positions in infection prevention and control and finally, since 2013, to the position of nurse manager in the emergency room. In this capacity, she supervised a team of 90 employees and managed a budget of $7 million. She has always known how to surround herself with high-performing teams and is very concerned about helping her team members grow.

Ms. St-Martin will use her skills to continue The Lighthouse's growth in the search for and dissemination of excellence and best practices in pediatric palliative care, in collaboration with partners in both the health network and the community.

Welcome to the wonderful team at The Lighthouse Children and Families!

The Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to thank Ms. Johanne Desrochers for her significant contribution to the general management of the Lighthouse over the past five years and wish her a well-deserved retirement.
