Welcome to Mr. Adam B. Mongodin, new Assistant Executive Director of The Lighthouse Children and Families

The executive management of The Lighthouse Children and Families is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Adam B. Mongodin as Assistant Executive Director effective September 3, 2019.

It is a return home for Mr. Adam B. Mongodin since he worked at The Lighthouse Children and Families from 1998 to 2002, as Executive Director, to implement the home respite service and develop the initial business plan.

After completing graduate studies in labour and social law in Paris, he pursued doctoral studies in health law at the University of Montreal. His career is impressive and includes several management and strategic level positions in the health network covering various fields of activity such as: human resources, service quality and assistant general management of the Mount Sinai Hospital Centre, university resources and services management of the Monfort Hospital, functions as assistant to the general manager at the Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal and assistant to the quality and performance management of the CIUSSS de l’Est-de-l’Ile-de-Montréal. Mr. Mongodin is also a certified visitor to Accreditation Canada. For more than a year now, he has been acting as an international accreditation program manager. In this capacity, he advised hospitals in Belgium to ensure strategic and operational compliance with the Qmentum quality and safety accreditation program.

As Assistant Executive Director, he will act in close complementarity with the Executive Director to achieve the organizational objectives and contribute to both the strategic and operational management of The Lighthouse. He will also be responsible for philanthropic development and communications as a priority. Mr. Mongodin's strong skills will complement those of the management team and are a guarantee of success for the coming years!
